Talk about feelings of shock and awe…
If only American comedy could be this twisted. Tubbs and Edward are a dark comics dream.
(Insert “Devil’s Gallop” here) Yes, it’s The Surprising Adventures of Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!!!! “On a lonely planet spinning its way toward damnation amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it’s the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!”
Ladies and gentlemen: I give you, the “Freedom Tray”
This movie sneaks up on you. It sneaks right the fuck up on you and then beats your head in with pure story until you can’t even think. It’s… well damn, it’s just an amazing piece of art. Do yourself a favor and order this bad boy, cause if you don’t God will kill a kitten. Seriously, I just ordered the blu-ray from the films maker, Double Edge Films and you should too. Jesus…
Ok, so Fitbit. It’s one of those pedometer tracking device thingamabobs that you clip on then wear all day long. The company has been getting ready to release the little devil, and they finally got around to doing so – I got my notification about charging/shipping/etc yesterday. The device ships with a little docking station that automatically retrieves data from the unit whenever you get in range, and then uploads said data to the companies website, where you get your own little fitness page that tracks just about damn near everything: how many steps you’ve taken, etc. It also lets you set goals, track food you ate, exercise you’ve done – all kinds of good stuff. It even tracks sleep cycles! It even has a database of food (like the lean cuisines I devour daily) that will auto-populate nutrition and caloric content. Overall, I’m really impressed with what I’ve seen so far. I don’t have my device yet (i think it actually ships in january) but the site is up and fully functional. I think it’ll be worth the one time fee of 100 bucks, provided the device does what it says it’s going to do. AND it works for a Mac or a PC. (Yes John, the world is waking up. Deal) Scope it out if your making those new years resolution plans. It might be worth it Stephen Colbert knocks another one out of the park http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/252735/october-26-2009/the-word—don-t-ask-don-t-tell |
